I watched this and knew I had to share. Before anyone gasps in shock, one word spoken may offend some but, I think the message is worth it so I'm posting the video. Hope you enjoy!

I know recipes for broccoli salad are a dime a dozen, but I think this one is by far the best! I think it is the use of red vinegar that makes the difference...so I don't suggest substitutions. Enjoy!

1 head of broccoli- Chop the crowns into bite size pieces.
1 small red onion- diced
1 cup of sharp cheddar- grated
1 lb. bacon- fried and crumbled

1/2 cup of mayonnaise(Need I say Dukes?)
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. red vinegar

Place broccoli,onion,cheese,and bacon into bowl and toss. Mix remaining ingredients in separate bowl with whisk. Pour over first mixture and toss. I let it sit for at least 4-6 hours before serving to marinate the veggies good. Try it! It's delicious!

Great Literature has always been a pleasure to me, but I have never really studied it...until now. 100 Things Challenge

I see this all over the web New 100 Thing Challenge and I keep wondering if I can do it. I am a recovering packrat, to say the least, and I think it's an amazing concept to see if you can live with 100 or less things. I feel sure while attempting this challenge one will learn what truly is important to them. I look forward to the challenge and please post comments and let me know what you think.

Hi, and welcome to my blog. I am inspired by so many other bloggers sharing there stories so I decided some time ago that I would do the same. That was over a year ago and I still haven't accomplished it. Not anymore. I enjoy writing and I am going to be a busy blogger. If my blog doesn't get read then I shall call it a diary.
